Getting to know Lauri Miller
Lauri Miller brings a depth of financial experience and an active role in civic affairs to her present position as a licensed Broker with Harcourts The Garner Group Real Estate. She served as Chief Financial Officer of Eagle Crest Resort for 19 years, accumulating experience on the financial side of real estate development. She obtained her real estate license and became affiliated with Harcourts The Garner Group in 2013.
A native of Wisconsin, Lauri moved to Portland after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a degree in Accounting. She worked as a Certified Public Accountant with KPMG for three years before moving to Bend in 1987 and joining Eagle Crest as Controller. She became CFO a short time later.
After a brief period of retirement to spend time with her family, Lauri spent five years as a consultant, including five months as Interim Financial Director for the City of Redmond.
Lauri has been a member of the St. Charles Health System Board of Directors for the past seven years. She is a former board member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Oregon, Bethlehem Inn, Seven Peaks School and Growing Tree Children’s Center and a past member of the Deschutes County Budget Committee.
Lauri lives in Bend with her husband, Charley Miller, and a canine family member, Porter. They have two grown daughters, Campbell and Shelby.
